GWYNETH CLEARY

Gwyneth Cleary is an actor, producer and singer based in Melbourne. As a child she was always drawn to performing, and developed her love for the craft in various choirs and performance ensembles, even travelling to the United States on an International Tour with the Australian Girls’ Choir. She went on to study at Monash University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Music specialising in Politics, Film and Screen Studies and Classical Voice Performance, before switching her focus back to acting. In 2023, she graduated from 16th Street Actors’ Studio’s Full Time Program, as well as completing their selective Extension Program that same year. She continued her studies at TAFTA as a part of their advanced Level-Up program in 2025. Gwyneth has a range of theatre performance credits including in the World Premiere of The Selfish Giant (2019) with Victorian Opera and the Australian Premiere of Il Mago di Oz (2022). At the beginning of 2025, Gwyneth co-produced her first independent theatre production; Jez Butterworth’s Mojo with Red Herring Theatre Company. Her film credits include the short films Hierarch Hair (2024) and Trance (2024), the musical short film Don’t Tempt Me (2025) and The Overthinker (2026). She is excited to collaborate with BYTE for the first time in their upcoming production The sun-drenched room.
