AMELIA PAWSEY

Amelia Pawsey is a performer and creative from Melbourne who has made a splash in the independent theatre scene as a multidisciplinary actor with credits including critically acclaimed, Blackpill at Theatreworks, Changeling for Melbourne Fringe, Op Shop Till You Drop, MICF ‘25, Peter Quince(& Musical Director) in Wanderer’s Theatre Company’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream as well as Sarah in What To Do When You Kill Your Co-Star, The Butterfly Club & Lost Theatre Co, also at Adelaide Fringe in 2026. Other Credits include As You Like It (Rosalind), The Spirit Level (Hillary/Dance Captain). In 2025 Amelia wrapped her first development season of the new Australian musical, Knowing How to Love, of which she is a proud co-writer, she also Music Directed and Composed for Caryl Churchill’s ‘Vinegar Tom’ with Wanderer’s Theatre in Ballarat and most recently wrote, produced and performed her original cabaret Love Letter To Heephah at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. She has her ‘finger in many pies’, an experienced dance teacher and personal trainer alongside her performing career, she often finds herself working as a movement director/choreographer on independent theatre productions in Melbourne and Sydney. The international touring production and life goes on, unpainted is Amelia’s first collaboration with BYTE.
